Gold, Not Dirt

Your faith is far more precious to God than mere gold (1 Peter 1:7, NLT)

A Thawed and Flawed Resurrection

Our earthly bodies, which die and decay, will be different when they are resurrected, for they will never die. Our bodies now disappoint us, but when they are raised, they will be full of glory (1 Corinthians 15:42, NLT)

Because Jesus Christ conquered death and rose from the grave, He will someday bring back to life all those who have put their faith in Him, giving them perfect bodies, just like His own resurrected, glorified body.

Christians need not falsely proclaim their innocence, but be honest with God and receive His wonderful forgiveness and cleansing according to 1 John 1:9-10: “If we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts” (NLT).

If you need wisdom . . . ask him (James 1:5, NLT)

Many successful people have acknowledged in their memoirs that whenever they came to an impasse in their work and were completely baffled, they sought wisdom from the Lord.

Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:6, NLT)

Our sovereign God is truly in control of even the smallest details of our lives, even though often we are unaware of His invisible hand.
